The collaboration with Pixii spread over several months from the setup of the digital twin of the rangefinder to the latest renders and animations.

The digital twin was a pretty time-consuming task in order to get the lens materials and other optical elements right, as well as the main body materials with the micro-textures to look great on closeups.

Once that was done we could move on to a short series of beauty shots of the rangefinder to go further than what done before with photography, as well as some context shots with an Iphone and the control app.

Finally a video was created to go with the launch of the new version of the rangefinder, with updated viewfinder display and camera sensor. The short 30-seconds video is made of several beauty and functional shots arranged in a fast-paced sequence to showcase everything new about the device.

La collaboration avec Pixii s’est étalée sur plusieurs mois, de la mise au point du double numérique du télémètre aux derniers rendus et animations.

Le double numérique a été une tâche assez longue afin d’aboutir avec des matériaux cohérents pour l’objectif et les autres éléments optiques, ainsi que les matériaux du corps principal avec les micro-textures pour un rendu parfait en gros plan.

Une fois cela fait, nous avons pu passer à une courte série de cbeauty shot du télémètre pour aller plus loin que ce qui avait été fait auparavant avec la photographie, ainsi qu’à quelques clichés contextuels avec un Iphone et l’application de contrôle.

Enfin, une vidéo a été créée pour accompagner le lancement de la nouvelle version du télémètre, avec une mise à jour de l’affichage du viseur et du capteur de l’appareil photo. La courte vidéo de 30 secondes est composée de plusieurs beauty shots et plans fonctionnels agencés dans une séquence rapide pour présenter toutes les nouveautés de l’appareil.
